Title: MS SQL Server DBA

Qualifications:
·
Must
have minimum of 6 -8 years of relevant DBA experience.
·
Must
have 5+ years in Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Database Administration with SQL
2008/2012 MCTS certifications at least.
·
Must
have extensive experiences in SQL database clustering, mirroring, replication.
·
Strong
database performance tuning skills with the ability to think through issues and
support Ops issues.
·
Ability
to work well under pressure; maintain strong working relationships with team members
and be willing to undergo peer reviews of supported environment; be
detail-oriented and organized.
·
Experiences
in data center migration are a plus.
·
Must
have basic experiences in data storage, and virtualization technologies.
·
Must
have Excellent communication skills to be able to interact with onsite
customers
Job
Description:
·
Support
100+ SQL servers in a multiple global data center environment.
·
Rotate
in 24x7 shift, which will include a night shift every 2 months.
·
Lead
deployments, projects, and work closely with project teams to architect
solutions for long term scalability of SQL database environments.
·
Involve
in large-scale data center migration deployments.
·
Provide
technical design and troubleshooting efforts as appropriate to ensure optimal
system database performance.
·
Manage
High critical systems for Operations including daily maintanence support like
backup, replication troubleshooting and Mirror system administration.
·
Global
system password changes, SQL server patching and management, Schema changes and
Recovery efforts.
·
Perform
space management and capacity management at all levels of database hardware
infrastructure (CPU, Disk I/O, Memory, Network, etc...)
·
Document
standards and best practices for all aspects of SQL Server
·
Work
with various offshore and onsite support vendors as appropriate.
