Professional
understanding of Routing Switching, operational understanding of Nexus and Load
balancers
·
Network
Architecture and network design
·
Routing
and Switch protocols: BGP, IEGRP, OSFP, VLAN, CDP, VTP, STP, RIP, RSTP, WLAN,
IPV6, MPLS
·
Solid
understanding of network security and firewalls including Juniper netscreen
·
Knowledge
of Load balancer (citrix netscaler will be added advantage), Blue Coat proxy.
·
Work
with end users to optimize their networks as well as research the newest in
technology
·
Oversee
overall integration of the local and wide area network, including the design,
development, testing and implementation for the field and corporate
·
Responsible
for EIGRP, OSPF and BGP routing protocols as well as traffic shaping and packet
prioritization
·
Identify
and resolve high-level network issues including complex routing issues in a
mixed protocol environment
·
Monitor
and track network performance to determine problem areas and proactively
develop solutions
·
Harden
and monitor network security and take proactive measures to protect against new
threats
