Position: VMware Architect (E4)
Location: Carry, NC
Job Description
VMware + Windows position:
· Participate in customer visits, conference calls, and assisting with defining the scope of services tasks for potential engagements
· Assess customer environment and requirements and design world-class virtualization solutions, leveraging best practices and best-of-breed technologies
· Installs and configures software and hardware systems on VMware and Windows technologies.
· Performs system integration tasks
· Develops customer relationships with data center customers in conjunction with Sirius sales teams
· Basic Qualifications -
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field
· At least eight (8) years of information technology work experience and experience architecting, implementing, and/or managing virtual infrastructure environments
· Other Position Requirements -
· Experience with VMware virtualization technologies including vSphere, vCenter management suite, Site Recovery Manager.
· Experience w (1.) Creation of solution and architectural views (logical| conceptual| development| execution| infrastructure & operations architecture) (2.) To assess the domain IT landscape assessment and Application portfolio optimization for gap analysis (3.) To contribute towards white/technical papers and knowledge base (4.) To manage Non Functional Requirement adaption for the solution (5.) To study and define system requirements addressing stakeholder| portfolio concerns (6.) To ensure knowledge up-gradation and work with new and emerging products/technologies.
