Role : AWS Solution Architect
Location : NYC, NY.
Duration : Long Term

Basic Qualifications
· At least 10+ years of experience in technology consulting, enterprise and solutions architecture and Infrastructure & Cloud Consulting
· At least 4+ years’ experience in Broad understanding of Infrastructure and Cloud technologies and how they can be applied in order to drive business benefits
· Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required. Will also consider one year of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education
Must Have experience
· Product expertise on Amazon AWS , MS Azure and other emerging Cloud Technologies
· Must have prior experience working on large customer engagements at a capacity of enterprise cloud architect on defining cloud deployment architectures, setting up AWS/Azure infrastructure or application cloud migrations
· Hands on experience in AWS provisioning and good knowledge of AWS services like EC2, S3, Glacer, ELB, RDS, SQS, SWF, EBS etc
· Hands on experience with MS Azure and related services
· Hands on experience in Enterprise VPN and Amazon VPC integration with data center
· Knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS along with Private, Public and Hybrid Cloud technologies
· Knowledge of monitoring, logging and cost management tools that integrate with AWS
Preferred
· At least 5+ years of experience in technology consulting, enterprise and solutions architecture and Infrastructure consulting
· At least 2+ years’ experience in Operating system administration and hands-on experience on virtualization technologies
· Experience in defining Cloud reference architectures and ability to drive an independent project from an architectural stand point
· Experience in defining strategy for the usage and adoption of Cloud Computing based upon qualitative business benefits
· Experience in creating Reference Architecture documentation on the types of Cloud Computing models that should be used for different scenarios
· At least 2 years of experience in thought leadership, white papers and leadership/mentoring of staff and internal consulting teams
· Experience and desire to work in a technology consulting environment that might require regular travel
