SharePoint Solution Architect

Location : New Orleans, LA

Contract

Requirement:

             10+ years of architecture experience designing and integrating solutions with Microsoft SharePoint Server / Office 365

             Expert understanding of SharePoint architecture - preferably Office 365 SPO - including site collections, user profiles, tags and categories, audiences, permissions, site templates, design layouts, master pages, and list libraries

             Expertise in SharePoint administration - PowerShell knowledge is a plus

             Experience designing solutions that leverage the Documentum, IBM, and/or Microsoft SharePoint, Office 365

             Ability to build support among senior management and key stakeholders across BUs for proposed strategies and solutions

             Serve as the primary technical SME for their assigned area(s)/domain(s), including:

             Serve as a technical expert/consultant to business stakeholders, business clients, Program Managers, BAs, peer SAs, and vendors

             Support technology and/or application road mapping based on business strategies, capabilities, and requirements

             Support Lifecycle road mapping for standard Entergy technology and applications

             Work with EA to evaluate emerging trends and technologies

             Adopt Industry and domain best practices

             Support Point of Views and Proof of Concepts

             Provide application integration expertise

             Provide Tier III technical support as needed

             Serve as Entergy’s technical lead on assigned projects, including:

             Support annual project portfolio planning

             Perform IT estimation during the Business Case phase

             Conduct Complexity Assessment to determine proper level of Solution Development Lifecycle (SDLC) rigor

             Support the solution sourcing and selection process (e.g. Requests for Proposals and Statements of Work processes)

             Enforce adherence to EA standards

             Provide technical oversight to vendor services and solutions delivery

             Create Solution Design (i.e. Conceptual, Logical and Physical)

             Maintain Requirements Traceability Matrix as established by the BA

             Support all project execution phases (i.e. Initiation, Definition, Design, Construction, Test, and Deployment)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

·         Minimum education required of the position

·         Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Advanced degree is a plus.

·         2+ years Cloud Workloads and Platform Services Operations and management experience

·         Experience with systems automation and configuration management (e.g. Puppet, Chef, Salt)

Job Description- Project Manager ( IT Infrastructure)

·         Drive and Execute Infrastructure projects across multiple technologies closely working with business teams in infrastructure, Application Development, and operational units across multiple lines of business.

·         Define purpose, clear roles, tasks, milestones, budgets and measures of success.

·         Ensure projects are completed in accordance with all Risk, Architecture and other relevant firm-wide guidelines

·         Manage the project estimating activity. Work with Program Manager and Project Team to communicate approach; present plans and gain sign-off from the business and IT leadership.

·         Conduct project/phase kick-off meetings to communicate individual roles and project expectations and ensure that all project team members have the tools and training required to perform effectively.

·         Act as a communication channel for ongoing project management status and issues, and setting business expectations.

·         Exposure in handling end to end projects with various billing category like time & material, Milestone based etc
