Title                 : Windows Engineer
Location           : Goodlettsville, TN
Duration           : Long Term Contract

Must be very Strong with Active Directory,  VMWare & Citrix.

Delivery & Operations:
·         Provide L3 helpdesk support and resolve problems to the end user’s satisfaction.
·         Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to service requests received through the IT helpdesk.
·         Serve as escalation point for issue resolution for WINTEL L2 resources and unresolved WINTEL L2 helpdesk tickets.
·         Monitor Service Desk for tickets assigned to all WINTEL queues to ensure timely and effective resolution. Work with the Service Desk Manager to ensure requests are routed to the proper resource in order to be resolved quickly and efficiently.
·         Monitor the remote monitoring and management system alerts and notifications, and respond accordingly through service tickets.
·         Identify and document off internal procedures for tasks that could be performed by WINTEL L2.  Hand off procedures to WINTEL L2 and monitor for effectiveness.
·         Serve as a liaison to between WINTEL L3 onshore and WINTEL L2 offshore to ensure proper support and operational documents and procedures are being followed and updated.
·         Daily verification of WINTEL backups and troubleshooting of related issues.
·         Manage server inventory including provisioning and decommissioning servers in the datacenter and remote locations.
·         Open support cases and drive issues to resolution with vendors when needed.
·         Weekly review of PCI compliance reports and platforms to ensure patching and baseline security compliance.
·         Support services for Microsoft related technologies: Windows Server, Exchange, Active Directory, Lync, SharePoint, etc.
·         Support services for virtualization technologies: VMware, Citrix, and Microsoft
·         Support services for hardware technologies: Intel x86, Cisco UCS, and virtual switching infrastructure.
·         Support services for network and end user related technologies: DNS, WINS, file shares, logon scripts, group policy, authentication technologies, etc.
·         Remote access solution support: VPN, Terminal Services and Gateway services, Microsoft Direct Access/UAG, Microsoft TMG reverse proxy, Lync SIP/Federation, and Citrix.

Domain Expertise

The desired candidate should have 8+ years of experience encompassing the below technologies

·         Administering Windows 2008, 2012 server environment.
·         Microsoft Related Technologies (Exchange 2010/2013, office 365, Lync 2010, SharePoint, SCOM 2007/2012, SCCM 2007/2012 etc.)
·         Administration of Active Directory and Group Policies.
·         VMWare, VEEAM Backup & Citrix technologies
·         Supporting and troubleshooting Intel x86, Cisco UCS and Virtual Switching infrastructure
·         Network and end user related technologies: DNS, WINS, file shares, logon scripts, group policy, authentication technologies, etc.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform varying degrees of problem analysis, resolution of application and hardware issues relating to Laptops,  Desktops & Apple mobile device of Executives.  Perform the below activities while adhering to Service Level Agreements (SLA) and be able to independently prioritize based on urgency & Executive. 
•             Perform Installs, Moves, Adds and Changes (IMACs) of hardware and software
•             Become familiar with local and regional infrastructure, key contacts, and escalations in regards to other teams in the business
•             Perform break-fix support for a wide range of hardware and software (site specific software competency will be trained while on the job)
•             Demonstrate outstanding understanding and communication when working with clients
•             Work with vendors to add/change/remove account contracts
•             Support a standard set of applications and validate those applications when new versions are release for compatibility
•             Be quick and responsive, as the devices are usually used by high-profile customers
•             Accountable in providing end-to-end support of mobile devices, from deployment to support to decommission
•             Perform setups and deactivations of Apple mobile devices
•             Ready to work in Shifts during Business days and weekends.
