Role: Citrix Administrator
Location: San Diego, CA
Contract

Responsibilities :-                           
-            Adhering to SLAs                        
-            ITIL Processes awareness and adhering to                   
-            Reporting to the Track Lead / Team Lead                    
-            Helping team members in case of Issues/Technical Problems                       
-            Handling tickets / requests                     
-            Troubleshooting technical issues                       
-            Ensuring that the processes are adhered to                           
-            Understanding of Multi-geo support environment                    
-            Responsible for successful completion of Installation, configuration and migration                        
-            Ensure maximum uptime according to the SLA                       
-            Responsible for building / maintaining a test environment

Technical Requirements
·         Computing or similar subject related degree                           
·         Interpersonal sensitivity and customer responsiveness                       
·         Excellent spoken and written communication skills                   
·         Ability to communicate complex technical contents plainly and simply                       
·         CCA Certification is compulsory.                         
·         MCP / MCTS/ MCSA/MCSE or MCITP in Windows 2000 or above would be added advantage.                      
·         2-3 years experience in one or more of : W2K/W2k3/W2K8                                  
·         Strong system administration skills on Win 200x servers                    
·         Usage of remote connectivity tools like Terminal Services, PC Anywhere, etc                      
·         Working Knowledge of Active Directory, WINS, DNS                          
·         Hardware knowledge and troubleshooting experience                         
·         1-2 years experience on Citrix Metaframe XP or Presentation Server 3.0/4.0/4.5 or XenApp                                 
·         Administration of Citrix Servers and Farm management.                    
·         Citrix load balancing and load management.                           
·         Troubleshooting of Web interface (Nfuse Server) and configuration of secure gateway <- Might not be needed in your case.                   
·         Resource manager and reports generation.                            
·         Experience in Installation manager and publishing applications on Citrix.                    
·         User administration and print management on Citrix.                         
·         Troubleshooting of Citrix servers and user issues.                   
·         Exposure on Citrix licensing.                   
·         PNA / ICA client configuration and management.                     
·         Suggesting improvements in the design/process                      
·         Preparing daily/monthly reports                        
·         Preparing the incident report/root cause analysis reports                    
                            
Soft Skills                             
·         Excellent communication and conversation skills (Verbal and Written)                       
·         Good documentation skills

Job Role: Senior Network Security Engineer
Location: Burlington, MA
FTE

Position Summary:
·         This dynamic, hands-on position will be responsible for planning, design, configuration and support of the company’s core security architecture.  The successful candidate will demonstrate subject matter expertise over a wide variety of technologies and collaborate with other engineering teams to implement improved security measures for iBasis worldwide network.  As a security advocate and the position will advise key stakeholders and service owners on risk management and how to balance security and business requirements, communicating mitigation strategies to both technical and non-technical audiences.  The position offers a wide degree of creativity – the Senior Network Security Engineer will proactively identify risks, propose mitigations and lead security improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities
·         Generate and maintain security documentation for system hardware and software, to include System Security Plans, equipment lists, practices and procedures. Determine security requirements by evaluating business strategies and requirements; research information security standards; conduct system security and vulnerability assessments
·         Develop and implement strategies for securing assets, customer services delivery, and regulatory/audit compliance.
·         Perform engineering tasks such as implementing firewall changes, establishing VPNs with partner companies, AAA administration, managing of access lists and software upgrades.
·         Proactively identify areas where security policies can be improved, document the changes and
·         Engage Engineering, Operations and IT teams to analyze security risks, propose mitigations and security lead improvement projects.
·         Provide mentoring and technical leadership to the Engineering teams on security standards, policies, and technologies.
·         Act as SME and provide third-level support and analysis during and after security events

Qualifications
·         A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred in Electrical / Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
·         5 or more years of experience architecting solutions with a concentrated focus on security, performance, scalability, and reliability
·         At least 7 years of progressively complex networking and security experience including hands on experience with Cisco products – routers, switches, ASAs and TACACS.
·         Expert understanding and working knowledge of TCP/IP, access-control lists, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, and dynamic routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF and EIGRP.
·         Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting methodologies
·         Excellent problem solving / analytical skills and knowledge of analytical tools
·         Excellent communication skills and experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
·         Hands on experience with application load balancers, SSL, IPSEC.

Plusses
·         CCIE with Security focus
·         Experience in a telecommunications service provider environment using protocols such as SIP, DIAMETER, SIGTRAN, SMPP, GTP

  • Change Control Ensuring all requests for configuration/Deployment is done through Change Request. Follow agreed change control processes and documentation, reporting progress of all change requests allocated to the role. Key Performance Indicators include changes delivered on time and changes delivered successfully. Configuration Management Create, maintain and delete user access, rights and permissions as appropriate. Carry out the implementation of patches and fixes to ensure desktop infrastructure and all associated applications are maintained in line with manufacturers and suppliers recommendations. Incident Management To ensure that any issues logged to the SCCM Team are managed through to completion.
  • Taking full ownership of any issue reported by the team or customer.
  • Ensuring that the incident management process is followed correctly at all times.
  • Ensuring that the issue is escalated to the relevant levels of management according to the problem management process.
