Urgent Requirement for Cloud Operations Engineer - Alpharetta, GA (Exp with Cloud,Virtualization, Linux, DNS,Shell Scripting)

Title: Cloud Operations Engineer

Location: Alpharetta, GA

Duration : 6 Months 

Requirements:

·         3+ years of relevant experience with at least 8 years of industry experience

·         Experience with virtualization

·         Experience with system administration (primary: Linux, secondary: Windows)

·         Experience with infrastructure services and protocols like DNS, DHCP, SSH, X Windows, HTTPS, NTP, etc.

·         Experience with shell scripting and at least one of the following: Ruby or Python or Powershell

·         Ability and willingness to pick up more scripting languages as needed (e.g. Perl, javascript, PHP)

·         Good knowledge of configuration management tools like Puppet and Chef with hands on experience with Chef and DVCS like git or mercurial.

·         Good knowledge of cloud computing and how it differs from traditional style along with good understanding of private, public and hybrid clouds

·         Good knowledge of REST. Experience with automation of tasks involving REST APIs.
