Role : Data Modeler/ Informatica Developer
Location: New York City

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing
data loading processes from multiple application systems into Financial Data
Warehouse.
·
The candidate additionally will be responsible in building and maintaining data
model.
·
Determine and document business rules to be applied to data cleansing and organization.
Design and develop data quality checks on data loads from varied sources
·
Develop & Unit test Informatica ETL processes for optimal
performance.
·
Develop & Unit test Shell scripts for pre and post loading processes.
·
Performance tune Informatica ETL mappings and report queries.
·
Provide production support for data warehouse jobs.
·
Ability to work independently and multi-task to meet critical deadlines in a
rapidly changing environment with minimum direction and guidance.
·
SPECIAL SKILLS TO PERFORM THE JOB:
§ Ten years of experience in the job offered or in a
role focused data modeling and Informatica ETL development
§
Must have
expertise in Informatica ETL tool with the ability to develop and
troubleshoot mapping, workflows
§
Adept in using data
modeling tool like IBM Infosphere data architect or Erwin.
§
Demonstrated
experience with Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence applications
§
Strong analytical
and conceptual skills in database design and implementation of RDBMS concepts
§
Must have
database expertise in DB2, Sybase and optionally Oracle databases with
hands on experience in writing and troubleshooting SQL and Stored Procedure
(PL/SQL, T-SQL)
§
Candidate must
know performance tuning in terms reading and acting on query execution
plan.
§
Must have expertise
in shell scripting
§ Demonstrated with the financial domain
