Excellent Opportunity for Java/ C++ Developer - NYC, NY

One of our Investment Banking client is looking for a Developer with either Java or C++ to work on a front office application dealing with Real Time Risk.. The person needs to have strong OO Design skills, multi-threading, as well as strong understanding of data structures and algorithms

Role:  Java/ C++  Developer

Location: NYC, NY

Job Description:

Ideal candidate will be  developing either in Java or C++  , Should be well versed in object oriented programming concepts, multi-tiered/multi-threaded applications, open to learn and use new technologies and is capable of performing both independently and as a member of a global development team.

Skills Required:

·         At least 8 – 10 years of experience in Java or C++

·         Solid knowledge of Object Oriented language, either Java or C++

·         Hands on experience with multithreading and real-time systems

·         Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures

·         Basic knowledge  Unix/Linux (ksh) scripting

·         Knowledge of scripting language (perl, python)

·         knowledge of relational DB concepts, SQL

·         Capital market working experience

·         Financial Front Office experience
