- Min 5-7 Yrs. of experience in managing and administer Windows 2003/2008 Environment.
- At least 2 years of experience in deployment & testing.
- Install, Configure and build Windows 2003/2008 infrastructure based on business requirement.
- Perform security patching, password update and other routine maintenance activity.
- Perform/Monitor end-to-end software deployment (Installation of all software and configuration changes associated with the release)
- Strong working knowledge of IIS Installation, Configuration, Management & Troubleshooting.
- Good experience in Database Administration in SQL Server
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, replication issues, log shipping issues, connectivity issues, security issues etc.
- Experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Ability to detect and troubleshoot SQL Server related CPU, Memory, I/O, disk space and other resource contention.
- Strong knowledge of backups, restores, recovery models, database shrink operations, DBCC commands, Clustering, Database mirroring, Replication
- Good knowledge of Power Shell scripting and Windows APIs
- Working knowledge of Hyper-v, SharePoint,
- Ability to operate complex, secure, and highly-available environment.
- Ability to pro-actively identify issues and recommend improvements.
- Responsible to create and update knowledge base based on changes to operational procedures and production platform.
- Should possess excellent communication skills.
