Essential
Functions of Project Manager:
Ø Develop the set of planning documents for each project implementation
phases.
Ø Walkthrough of
the project plan and deliverables with executive clients and sponsors and get
their approvals
Ø Review
requirement documents and approve job orders and change requests
Ø Manage project
deliverables in line with the project plan
Ø Communicate
project status, issues and concerns to project stakeholders according to
communications plan
Ø Coordinate
with offshore manager and the leads to track the development and ensure timely
delivery
Ø Manage project
deliverables from all functional teams ensuring they meet the define timeline
Ø Resolve
cross-functional issues at project
level.
Project
Manager Candidates are required to have:
Ø
Bachelors degree and at least 9+ years of experience in interactive project
management
Ø
Experience in Data Warehouse implementation for Insurance domains
Ø
Significant experience in Property and Casualty Insurance and Reinsurance
Ø
9+ years of relevant technology architecture consulting or insurance industry
experience.
Ø
Strong technical background in Informatica 8.X/9.x , SQL server
Integration Services, Business Objects and SQL Server Reporting services, SQL
Server 2008 Or Oracle tools is must
Ø
Development of statements of work and/or client proposals
Ø
Identify and promote best practices and patterns for data modeling, and provide
oversight for all activities related to data cleansing, data quality and data
consolidation using standard data modeling methodologies and processes
Ø
Lead workshops for client education
Ø
Ability to manage multiple teams on a data warehousing engagement
including offshore teams.
