Role: Java Developer
Location: Portland, OR
FTE/ Permanent Position
Roles & Responsibilities:

Prospective
candidate must have good working knowledge of the Web Services. In particular
communication patterns with REST, SOAP and Plain Old Java Object (POJO) based
services via http and jms protocols.
·
Must be
comfortable working in UNIX based environment.
·
Good
knowledge of SOAP 1.1, SOAP 1.2, XML, JSON, troubleshooting and testing
methodologies is a must.
·
Must
have worked with LDAP based user directories. Knowledge of Oracle directory
services (OID, OVD) preferred.
·
Must
understand common web service security practices, including transport layer
security (SSL/TLS), authentication methods (Basic auth, Cert based
authentication, WS Security Token, SAML), message level security (XML
Encryption and signatures), role and policy driven authorizations, and S.
·
Understand
and be comfortable working with certificates (both self-signed and signed by
public CA's).
·
Experience
with XML/API gateways (such as DataPower, ACE, Axway, Oracle, Intel, etc.) is
preferred.
·
Must be
comfortable testing with SOAP UI.
·
Must
have strong communication and troubleshooting skills, and be able to work
independently. Be able to engage and cooperate with other teams, represent the
team during incidents or escalations, capture BKM's, maintain documentation and
follow through with assignments.
·
Knowledge
of RegEx, XPATH, and UML diagrams is desired.
