AFS SD/MM Consultant – C3 / C4
Location: Panama City,
Panama

Mandatory
o 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in SAP AFS as a functional
consultant
o Good product and process knowhow
of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) for MM stream
and/or Order-to-Cash (OTC) for SD stream essentially having deep
functional/configuration experience in the following areas in SAP Apparel &
Footwear Solution
o Strong understanding of AFS Basic data with regards to Sizes, Category
setup, Seasonality and Value Added Services (VAS)
o Strong understanding of working
with Apparel & Footwear materials in SAP AFS. Concept of AFS material master and its impact to the different MM
processes
o Experience in process setup and configuration in Demand planning
(Forecast loading, MRP)
o Purchasing: Hands-on
purchase requisition, purchase orders. Having worked on standard procurement
processes, purchase-to-order and third-party order procurement processes
o Inventory Management: Basically having an overview of working with batch
managed materials with normal stocks and special stocks (Sales Order stocks and
Customer Consignments). Overview of physical inventory of AFS materials
o Logistics invoice verification: Vendor invoice posting
o Sales/Delivery and Outbound
Logistics related topics
o SAP-AFS specifics like sizes, category concept, A-Run and the
implications of this specifics to the SAP standard process
o Decent knowhow of end-to-end process impact between MM and SD is
necessary
(integration points with FI is an added plus)
o Good to have knowhow of the SAP
AFS product architecture and ABAP debugging skills is necessary
o Should have experience of at
least one implementation project in AFS MM and/or SD and should be able work
independently on the Design, Build, Test activity.
o Should have experience of at
least one production support project in AFS and should be able to work
independently on the issues reported by end users
o Should have experience in client
interactions to understand their requirement and must be able to draft the
Functional Specification.
o Should have worked on Data
Migration Tools.
o Should have working experience in
Retail and/or apparel & footwear industries.
o Should have working experience in
global environment
o Should have basic debugging skill
o The consultant would be
responsible for:
o L1/L2 tickets queue monitoring
and resolution within SLA coordinating with all stakeholders and feedback to
end users in a business oriented language if necessary with screenshots and
further explanations
o Jobs, interfaces, inbound and
outbound queue monitoring and reacting on alters
o End to end monitoring of critical
AFS business processes
o End to end error and support RFCs
Handling and testing
o Active participation in project
and release handover sessions, regression testing
o RCA and Problem Management
o Configuration and knowledge
management

• Responsible for the successful implementation of client’s SAP FICO modules, including providing functional expertise, hands-on delivery, customization, guidance, presentation, and instruction on SAP products
• Direct point of contact with client for troubleshooting: investigate, analyse, solve software problems and map client business requirements, processes and objectives; develop necessary product modifications to satisfy clients' needs
• Define systems strategy, develop systems requirements, design and prototype, test, train, qualify & quantify support procedures, and implement practical business solutions under multiple deadlines
• Strong Functional experience in and knowledge of design, configuration and testing of core SAP FICO modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Product Costing/Actual Costing/Material Ledger, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Profit Center, Profitability Analysis (COPA)
