Position
exists to provide technical consulting solutions to customers and as such
requires the ability to travel to and from customer sites and interact with
customers on an ongoing and regular basis.
Job
Description
•
Participate in customer visits, conference calls, and assisting with defining
the scope of services tasks for potential engagements. Assess customer
environment and requirements and design world-class virtualization solutions,
leveraging best practices and best-of-breed technologies. Installs and
configures software and hardware systems on VMware and Windows technologies.
Performs system integration tasks. Develops customer relationships with data
center customers in conjunction with Sirius sales teams.
•
Experience with VMware virtualization technologies including vSphere, vCenter
management suite, Site Recovery Manager.
•
Experience with x86 server and converged infrastructure technologies including
IBM, Dell, HP and Cisco. Basic experience with any of the storage platforms
including NetApp, EMC, IBM, HP.
•
Knowledge of platform and network connectivity. Ability to work closely with
customersGood communication and presentation skills. Ability to produce clear
and detailed technical documentation. Abilit (1.) Incident Management + Change
