ROLE: Infrastructure Project Manager
Location: Franklin Lakes, NJ
PROJECT SUPPORT NEEDS
1- Strong ability to coordinate development of data center build and migration project plans and schedules
2- Strong ability to learn, build and apply Earned Value SPI to a MS Project Schedule
3- Strong ability to facilitate meetings and coordinate activities across a disparate team
4- Strong problem solving, collaboration and motivation skills
5- Strong ability to identify ambiguity and manage a team to success
TRAVEL:
· Onshore – as project needs dictate; initial view is 65% at client site
· Onshore – New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania preferred but will reconsider depending on the candidate
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure Project management
- Must possess Project Management Certification and be able to articulate how they apply fundamental
principles in their projects
- ITIL Foundations V3 awareness; certification not required but would be considered a plus
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- 6+ years of experience in a PM or Sr. PM role for core data center and technology transformations
- Good ability to perform project integration management, which involves among other things
managing project plans (scope, schedule and resource),
ensuring compliance and security guidelines are maintained
- SCOPE MANAGEMENT
o Strong ability to manage scope and maintain requirements and project definition baselines
o Solid understanding of the interdependencies between data center functions and technology domains
- RISK/ISSUE MANAGEMENT
o Proven ability to manage risk and issue cadences; and proactively managing ability to meet
contractual milestones
- DELIVERABLES AND MILESTONE MANAGEMENT
o Proven ability to manage deliverables and milestones proactively
- SCHEDULE MANAGEMENT
o 3+ years working in Microsoft Project or similar scheduling tools; with ability to manage and report
a Schedule Performance Index (SPI) on a weekly basis
- COMMUNICATIONS MANAGEMENT
o Strong facilitator with ability to build collaborative teams and earn trust from the customer on day one,
o Very good ability to present project status across RAID and other reporting cadences
o Good ability to collaborate and initiate discussions on complex and ambiguous situations and
adapt communication plans throughout the lifecycle to ensure high performance

o Works well in ambiguous situations and has enough discipline to establish and maintain process and procedures
throughout the lifecycle
