Title of Position: VMware Architect(windows)

Location:  Cary, NC

Employment: Full Time

Rate: $Negotiable

 

Description

 

VMware + Windows position:

•Participate in customer visits, conference calls, and assisting with defining the scope of services tasks for potential engagements

•Assess customer environment and requirements and design world-class virtualization solutions, leveraging best practices and best-of-breed technologies

•Installs and configures software and hardware systems on VMware and Windows technologies.

•Performs system integration tasks

•Develops customer relationships with data center customers in conjunction with Sirius sales teams

Basic Qualifications -

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field

•At least eight (8) years of information technology work experience and experience architecting, implementing, and/or managing virtual infrastructure environments

Other Position Requirements -

•Experience with VMware virtualization technologies including vSphere, vCenter management suite, Site Recovery Manager.

Experience

 

(1.) Creation of solution and architectural views (logical| conceptual| development| execution| infrastructure & operations architecture)

 

(2.) To assess the domain IT landscape assessment and Application portfolio optimization for gap analysis

(3.) To contribute towards white/technical papers and knowledge base

(4.) To manage Non Functional Requirement adaption for the solution

(5.) To study and define system requirements addressing stakeholder| portfolio concerns

 

(6.) To ensure knowledge up-gradation and work with new and emerging products/technologies.
