Job Title: Active Directory Engineer / Architect L4

Roles & Responsibilities:
• Meet the SLA and QOS level
• Co-ordinate with other teams
• Escalation of all pending and failed calls
• Update the knowledge base and documentation
• Designing and planning of AD & ADFS
• Managing, Design and Build skillset for Active directory
• Managing, Design and Build skillset for ADFS
• Provide L4 level support on AD, ADFS, DNS architecture
• Experience in Testing and implementing security patches released by Microsoft.
• Migrating AD users from one forest to another
• Manage Multi Forest / Parent domain architecture
• Migrate ADFS to newer version, share a design strategy if required by customer
Technical Requirements
· " • Strong knowledge of active directory concepts and configuration, i.e. need to understand membership in security groups, inherited groups, OU structure, etc.
· " • Strong knowledge of ADFS, i.e. need to understand integration with 3rd party application
· " • Extensive knowledge on Datacentre migration, i.e. understand share AD and ADFS migration approach if required
· Knowledge of Windows Registry, including knowledge of modifying system registry to support installed applications and document configuration changes.
· Good knowledge on Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, Windows 2003 & Windows 2008 including Active Directory.
· Excellent troubleshooting skills
· Excellent skills on Active Directory 2008 and above versions for designing & planning
· Hands on experience on migration and consolidation project
· Experience on Merger and Demerger of active directory Environment
· Expert on migrations tools ( Ex. ADMT, Quest e.t.c)
· Good experience on Security translation
· Good understanding on reporting tools
· Good experience user training and documentation.
· Good communications Skills, Interpersonal and willingness to excel and performance oriented
· Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and conversation skills (Verbal and Written)
- Good documentation skills
- Good working knowledge of MS OFFICE (Including MS Project and Visio)
- Should have a great customer handling skills
- Able to handle unforeseen situations
- High level of acceptance
- Can drive HCL’s value and its methodology
Certification requirements
• MCSE 2000/2003
MCTS on Windows Server 2008
