Responsibilities & Qualifications:
This is for the Service Management/Enterprise Performance Monitoring Business Analyst (BA) position.
We require a skilled BA that can operate under minimum supervision and performs duties with broad latitude and judgment in line with department and corporate guidelines.
This individual should be a service oriented person that will be a solution and business advocate. Tasks delegated to this person require an in-depth and wide understanding of problem recognition, analysis and that begins the solution process.
Minimum 5 years’ experience, exposure to Business Analysts methodology, project management skills, ITIL processes and Enterprise/Service Management technology.
Nominees should be able to independently perform business activities and possess behaviors to execute the following objectives consistently:
· Needs to direct or participates in studies of new and existing requirements to determine feasibility, resolve problems including organizational, procedural, and technical challenges.
o Determines and documents customer business functions for improving business operations.
o Assists in the preparation of proposals to develop new solutions and/or operational changes.
o Recommend solutions that should be prepared in consultation with impacted internal and outside stakeholders, but should remain objective to balance requirements and deliverables.
o Proposed solutions should be strategic in nature and align with the overall Service/Enterprise Management capabilities and roadmaps.
· Consults with management and personnel to identify, define and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements.
o Consolidates information into cohesive and understandable correspondence or other written form that can be used in management decision-making.
o Acts as a liaison between departmental end-users, technical analysts, information technology analysts, and consultants.
o Analyzes the feasibility of, and develops requirements for, new solutions and enhancements to existing mechanisms.
o Ensures the delivered solution meets the demands of the user
· Researches and prepares statistical reports/analytics using data from systems and other identified data sources.
o Reads and interprets management systems and functional technical literature and translates in terms understandable to the end-users.
o Provides recommendations based on data analysis for the team to action.
o Tracks and fully documents changes for functional and business specifications over time.
Major Plus
o Writes detailed universally understood procedures for permanent records such as training, operational procedures or availability verification procedures.
o Capable to offer technical aid in training, mentoring, and coaching professional and expert staff.
o Able to develop training curriculum and conducts formal training sessions
