Role: Infrastructure Architect

Work location -Glendale, CA

Band - E3.

Job Type: Contract

 

1.Responsibilities

Architectural design and Solution Delivery for Infrastructure related to Business applications

Experience in Defining and validating technical requirements and architecture quality attributes for Business application Projects

Participate as technical subject matter expert & ownership IT projects as required to ensure technical engineering deliverables.

Develop and coordinate the documentation for approaches, methodologies, policies, standards configurations, deployment processes and testing plans as needed.

Lead and participate in joint sessions with the teams to standardize and balance support allocations.  Align the right support at the right level.

Develops and communicates architectural proposals for various projects and initiatives.

 

Technical Skills

Experience in below Operating Systems

·         Solaris

·         Linux

·         Windows

 

Experience in Storage Technologies using EMC and Hitachi, NAS

Experience in VMware ESX, Network, Security, IT Process and Procedures

Experience in Application layer using Java, IIS, Jboss

Experience in defining DR and HA functionality at application/infrastructure layer

Experience in Vblock environment

 

Additional Skills and Experience required

Expertise in preparing design documents

Must have been part of at least one datacenter build, migration, Application Transformation & operations

Minimum 6 years of experience in architecting and deploying IT infrastructure solutions

 

Soft Skills

Candidate should processes excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written)             

Excellent documentation skill                                    

Good working knowledge of MS OFFICE (Including MS Project and Visio)                             

Should have great customer handling skills                                         

Able to handle unforeseen situations                                    

Excellent team player capabilities
