Black Belt Project Manager, Global Commercial / Corporate Card Implementations
Global commercial/corporate card implementations are large and complex projects requiring individuals with technical, process improvement and project management skills to execute and lead them. The successful candidate will lead global multi-strand projects for our highest profile clients with responsibility for coordination of all project related activities across US, Canada, Latin America, MEA, Asia and Europe. The role requires excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills to effectively deliver products to our clients as well as exercising judgment and discretion to ensure execution of project activities. Ability to demonstrate attention to detail, whilst maintaining end-to-end ownership and drive for results is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
· Partner and lead a cross-functional team to identify opportunities for process improvement to help our clients achieve faster speed-to-spend using Lean Six Sigma methodology and tools (i.e., define, measure, analyze, improve, control)
· Create recommendations for process improvements or system enhancements, including the feasibility and business impact of recommended improvements, to add value to the client
· Lead the successful management and implementation of multiple concurrent project-based corporate card programs, involving the delivery of timely, quality results to customers and clients on defined business requirements
· Act as the primary interface with the client to establish all connectivity between organizations / regions
Required Skills:
· University degree/college diploma
· 5+ years experience in commercial/corporate card product implementations
· 5+ years experience as a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
· 8+ years experience as a management consultant
· 8+ years experience in project management
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, comfortable with high degree of direct client interaction
· Ability to work independent of direct supervision - highly organized and adept at time management
· Strong problem solving and analytical skills
· Willingness to learn and adapt to changes
Preferred Skills:
· Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certified
· Experience in transactional environment (banking, payments, IT, etc.)
· Certified People Change Management
· Certified PMP
· Extensive global card implementations
· Co-brand, private label and B2B experience
· Travel & expense, purchasing card and virtual card experience
Employment Type: Contract (6 months to 1 year with possibility to extend)
