Role: Linux Administrator
Duration:- TP
Level:- L3
Location: Newark, CA
Must have:
• Health Care Applications experience such as Imaging, Clinical applications deployment on Linux Environment
Responsibilities
• Maintain large number of Linux Workstations (and some window) running RHEL and Oracle Linux. Evaluate and implement software and OS upgrades
• Setup and Maintain Healthcare Imaging Solution on Oracle Linux Environment
• Develop and implement efficient operations management processes including disaster recover, high availability, monitoring, and systems security
• Support an ever growing VMware infrastructure with 300-400 VM’s running in 3 locations
• Provide support for operational issues including problem solving, root cause analysis and technical, and process recommendations for improvement
• Health Care Applications experience such as Imaging, Clinical applications deployment on Linux Environment
Requirements
• 10+ years’ experience in Linux Systems Administration required and experience with one or all: RedHat/Centos/Ubuntu
• Experience with Virtualization Xen and VmWare
• Experience with NetApp, or other storage such as EMC
• Experience With Healthcare Imaging Solution PACS Setup and Maintenance
• Healthcare industry Experience
• experience in backup and recovery using Symantec NetBackup
• Excellent understanding of networking principles: TCP/IP, UDP, Routing, DNS, configuration of SSL certificates
• Strong written and verbal communication & excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Nice to have
• Shell scripting, Perl scripting and Linux internals expertise a plus
• Experience working with NFS especially with NAS and SAN is a plus
• Experience supporting a large enterprise application deployment in a high-availability environment
