Role: Core Java Developer, Experience in Algorithm Design
Location: New York City, NY
Duration: Full Time
Basic Qualifications:
· Extensive experience (5-8+ years) in Core Java development
· Looking for a strong Core Java Developer 8+ years of experience with Algorithm Design experience.
· Must have a Master’s degree from the US if you want them to pass the rigorous interviews for Goldman Sachs. Will require an online exam and multiple interviews F2F in one day.
· MUST be very strong in Core Java development and able to pass a coding exam
· Strong knowledge of software best practices (Object-Oriented design, patterns, algorithms, data structures)
· Experience writing multi-threaded systems
· Experience with memory/execution constraints and handling large amounts of data
· Experience with Unix (all of our services are deployed on Unix machines)
· Applies Test-Driven Development practices
· Java Development, Data structures, Algorithm, Problem solving, System design, Distributed systems
· Hands-on expertise in Java and Java Enterprise technology applications architecture, design, development and support
· Able to analyze business requirements and create efficient solutions
· Solid knowledge of applications performance improvement techniques and caching solutions
Job Summary & Responsibilities:
· Should be a hands on Senior Developer with Capital Markets Experience.
· Responsible for guiding the team on design and development of enhancements in our applications including writing code, testing, and bringing technical depth and creativity to projects
· Develop, Build and improve Java based systems
· Performs troubleshooting of issues and performing periodic tasks required for the ongoing functionality of the software applications
· Work with regional leads to agree on requirements and track milestones. Responsible for smooth and timely deliverables for technical projects
