UX Researcher

3 to 6 Months Contract

 

Job Description:

We are looking for a UX Researcher.. must have knowledge of and experience in a full range of user experience research methods, including the following:

•      Usability Testing (e.g., “Think Aloud” technique), in-person and remote

•      Participatory Design

•      Heuristic Evaluations

•      Card Sorting and Tree Testing

•      Concept Testing

•      Interviewing

•      Persona creation

 

Responsibilities

•      Meet with project teams to come up with research objectives

•      Create research plans

•      Write interview guides

•      Facilitate usability tests, concept tests, interviews, expert reviews, etc.

•      Draft and execute surveys

•      Understand what your customers are thinking and feeling

•      Understand the journey of customers, including their goals and pain points

•      Create personas, journey maps, and empathy maps

•      Debrief project teams on research findings (quick turnaround)

•      Write compelling research reports

•      Influence stakeholders to make improvements

 

Requirements:

•      Experience with Lean/Agile strongly preferred

•      Demonstrated ability to plan, facilitate, debrief, analyze, and report results obtained from user research.

•      Experience presenting research findings to all levels of management.

•      Strong experience planning and executing usability studies.

•      Possess extremely adept facilitator skills.

•      Possess strong time management skills.

•      Demonstrated willingness and ability to train others and effectively provide feedback on facilitation skills.

•      This role is an on-site, customer facing position and does not offer remote working options.
