Title of Position: Web Hosting/ IIS  Engineer

Location: Englewood Cliffs, NJ

Duration: 6 Months

Role and Responsibility / Job Description:

Basic Knowledge

• Fundamental knowledge of network technologies including Domain Name System (DNS),firewall technologies, F5 Hardware Load Balancer, TCP / UDP protocol.

• Experience with the Windows Server 2003 and Microsoft Windows Server 2008 operating systems with Clustering and load balancing environment.

• Fundamental knowledge of SQL Server 2005 / 2008 architecture and relational database concepts including Query Analyzer, Management Studio, Profiler, SSIS, scheduled jobs and , stored procedures.

• Experience using Windows management and monitoring tools such as Microsoft Management Console, Performance Monitor, Process Explorer, Event Viewer, and TCPview.

• Experience using Windows networking and application / IIS troubleshooting tools such as Network Monitor, Telnet, NSLookup, IIS Debug tool, Opnet Appinternal Application Analysis tool and Fiddler Web Debugger.

• In-depth Understanding and working knowledge of various versions of Internet Information Service (IIS 5.0 / IIS 6.0 and IIS 7.5).

• In-depth knowledge of various features & Configurations available in IIS.

• Roles and Services of IIS.

• IIS Configuration and Administration.

• Application Request Routing (ARR).

• IIS inbuilt and custom Security Modules.

• Logging and Diagnostics Modules

• Permissions and Role Based Access Control.

• ASP.NET Integration.

• Knowledge of PowerShell and VBS in general.

• Thorough knowledge on Application pool architecture and Management.

• Experience in migration application from IIS 6.0 to IIS 7.5.

• Thorough knowledge on ASP.NET architecture and Management.

• Backup and Restore

• Single application pool, single application , IIS Server

• Knowledge on Anti-Spam and Anti-virus products.

• Troubleshoot and resolve client applications –hosted on standard IIS, Custom IIS, Vendor support etc.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
