Role: Oracle Application DBA

Location: Pleasanton, CA

Description:

·         Should have Experience in “External Web Services for Oracle Application” and “Credit Card Encryption” .

·         Clone, maintain and refresh development and test instances of Oracle EBS from SAN snapshots and rapid clone procedures.

·         Maintain RMAN backups, SAN snapshots and remote replication

·         Maintain database on  EBS environments

·         Perform regularly scheduled Oracle EBS, Application related patching on  application and database tiers.

·         Oracle enterprise manager support and monitoring of all Production systems.

·         Maintain database and application tiers for Oracle EBS applications

·         Install patches, upgrade, and cloning from production to other environment

·         Monitor  application performance ensuring scheduled programs and interfaces are run  appropriately

·         Maintain  Oracle database policy and procedures

·         Disaster Recovery testing & backup

·         Monitor DR remote site replication

·         Support all aspects of project including, scheduling tasks, identifying potential  issues, working with staff to quickly provide solutions to problems as  they arise, utilizing current system support staff to aid in the   completion of project on time

·         Support  change management process, working with client leaders and business users  to ensure the existing solution or a change to the solution is effective and implemented correctly

·         Defines and implements monitoring, security and other rules to meet regulatory  compliance needs

·         Provide  Production, test, and development environment support

·         Ensuring the high availability, performance and security of the production  databases

·         Identify  and report slow running SQL queries

·         Tuning  at the instance and SQL statement level

·         Defines  and implements security and other rules to meet regulatory compliance needs     

·         Maintain & follow standards for LINUX / UNIX/Solaris(Applications & Database)  environment and documents procedures

·         Assist  other Team members in support of a major or complex product      installs, patches, upgrade, and cloning from production to other environment

·         Monitor application performance ensuring scheduled programs and interfaces are run  appropriately
