Role: Infrastructure Technical Architect/ Data Center

- Cloud / Data Center Infrastructure - Storage (DELL, EMC) Virtualization (Microsoft Hyper-V), Hardware – Blades, Dell, Network – Nexus
Maintain broad based technical and solutions knowledge in key data center infrastructure optimization and solution areas:
- Subject matter expert and thought leader with deep expertise in converged infrastructure (servers, storage, networking, service management) for virtualized/cloud solutions.
- Data Center strategy, capacity, migration/consolidation, tools and services
- Architect customer solutions for Infrastructure as a Service/Storage as a Service/Backup as a Service.
- Responsible for leading the engagement of the customer transition to the cloud offering (whether public / private / hybrid)
- To evangelize around cloud technologies.
- candidate will have performed numerous virtualization assess, design and implementation projects from small to very large environments with many different operating systems, applications architectures and technologies.
Responsibilities:

- Verification of quotations and proposals
- Defining, delivering technical demonstrations
- Proof of Concept
- Transition of the solution into installation and delivery
- Documentation
- Develop relationships with Account Managers, Sales Specialists, Manufacturers and Distribution Partners
- Maintain Skills + Accreditation
- Product Evaluation
- Evangelise products within the solutions portfolio

- Virtualization Products (Microsoft Hyper-V)
- Hardware (HP Blades, Rack Mount, Dell Servers)
- Microsoft Products (Hyper-V, System Center, Exchange, Active Directory, SQL Server, MSCS Cluster)
Successful candidates must have a high level of competency in at least 2/3 of the product sets above and extensive industry leading training will be provided in the other areas
