Job Description: Mainframe Administrator.
Location: Frisco, TX.
Job Type: Contract.
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Good Skills required with respect to Mainframe Systems programming(z/OS operating system, Customization parameters, IPL Process, Install and customize IBM and Non IBM products).
· Candidate needs to have strong experience in Mainframes Administration for at least 5 years.
· Candidate needs to have strong hands on with IBM tools such has IBM IMS ,IBM CICS and IBM Websphere MQ.
· Provide CICS Systems Support and perform CICS monitoring duties and perform problem diagnosis resolution.
· Provide MQ Systems Support and perform MQ monitoring duties and perform problem diagnosis resolution.
· Systems Support Monitoring Systems Programmer support of CICS, MQ, Database (DATACOM, DB2, ORACLE), Z/OS, UNIX-based distributed systems processing.
· Interface with Z/OS, CICS, DB, MVS, MQ, applications support to assess and address operational issues within the CBP enterprise. Provide Z/OS Operational Support Monitor the Z/OS Master Consoles, respond to console messages,
· The scope of services include, but are not limited to the following: Performing systems analysis to identify the cause of major system problems and resolving those problems within the shortest time frame possible.
