Job Title: Network Engineer
Location: San Antonio, Texas
Type: Contract
Responsibilities and Roles:
*Provide L3 network support in the Network infrastructure ( MIs or Request , it depends of the severity and the urgency for the problem).
*Monitor the network and provide proactive and reactive support for all the network devices (Routers, switches, Load balancer F5 , and DNS)
*Work on Network projects for new deployments or requirements in the USAA network
*Help other teams in any network request
*Work as a team member and setup and build/design and implementations.
*Switch and router design knowledge.
Technical Skills
CCNA/CCNP certified , with at least 5 years of experience.
Technologies required for network support are:
VRFs, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, DMVPN, HSRP, VLANS, STP, FABRIC PATH, NEXUS (5K,7K,9K), FEX, VDC. VPCs, ETHER-CHANNELS, F5( at least knows what is its role in the network)
