Position: NetApp Storage Engineer
Location: Rochester, NY (Client office Canandaigua, NY)
Duration: Contract to Hire
1) Mandatory and nice to have skills
a. NetApp L3 resource
i. Performs systems maintenance, upgrades, capacity planning, and administration.
ii. Develops, documents, and standardizes preventative maintenance routines to ensure system availability and performance standards on production systems.
iii. Investigates, troubleshoots, and resolves incidents and problems within defined service level agreements (SLAs).
iv. Communicating effectively with various entities, including CRMs, account managers, remote site personnel, and client technical and non-technical resources.
v. Senior level administration of NAS/SAN devices
vi. Initial Configurations and/or Remediation of Current Environments
vii. Fibre Channel Configuration and Zoning of Fabric Switches
viii. Cisco
ix. Brocade
x. Excellent Working Knowledge of Major Storage Platforms and Support
xi. NetApp DataOnTAP - 7 Mode, 8.x; Cluster Mode, etc.
xii. HP SAN/Left-Hand Storage
