Role: NetApp Storage & Backup Technical Lead
Location: San Francisco (SFO), CA
Contract
Responsibilities:
· Strong Hands-on Experience working in various storage sub-systems (DAS, NAS & SAN). MUST be fully able to lead/support storage systems (operational, troubleshooting, management and administration)
· MUST have excellent experience in any of the below three Storage Platforms.
o NAS Netapp 3250, 8020,2554
o DAS Dell MD1120
o SAN Dell Equalogic PS6010, PS6110
o SAN EMC VMAX, CX-4
o SAN HP 3PAR
o SAN IBM v7000, DS4800, DS5300, v3700
o SAN Netapp 2020, 3250
· Experience in managing backup & recovery environments using Commvault, Enterprise Vault, Netapp Disk Backup etc.,
· Exposure/Experience in configuring & managing of Zerto Replication & Crashplan Endpoint backup tools
· Experience in Netapp, IBM, EMC Replication Technologies. SAN Copy, Global Mirroring, Snapshots, SnapMirror, SRDF, RPA, Time Finder etc.,
· Experience in Configuring & Managing Enterprise Backup Targets for Commvault using Netapp Storage
· Experience in provisioning/managing storage LUNs to AIX/Windows/VMware ESX platforms
· Experience working in Disaster Recovery Test/Exercises for Storage & Backup Recovery
· Good Exposure in configuring/management of Storage Management Tools
· Experience in planning & deployment of Patch/Upgrades on Storage & Backup sub-systems
· Experience in Proactive Performance & Capacity Analysis of Storage/Backup infrastructure and provide recommendations to the customer
· Experience in configuring/managing Data Center SAN Fabric Switches (Cisco MDS, Brocade)
· Experience providing hands & feet support for installation/configuration of storage / backup hardware in Data Center
Qualification:
· At least 8-10 years of Strong Hands-on experience
· Able to demonstrate Technical leadership, Good Communication Skills
· Experience managing onsite-offshore teams
· Certification in any of the above Storage/backup technologies will be added advantage
· Experience working in healthcare Industry will be added advantage
· Experience in ITIL v3 processes
· Serves as escalation point for all storage & backup related incidents
· Experience in Reporting & Presentation Skills
